Paulo Biasotto is currently Marine Systems Engineer for Petrobras America based in Houston at the Walker Ridge Facilities team, where he supports the Cascade & Chinook floating production system development and operation activities. Paulo has over 17 years experience in the marine and upstream oil and gas industries and has also held roles with Bureau Veritas in Brazil, France and the United States. From 2001 to 2005 Paulo led at BV Headquarters in Paris FPSO integrity management projects worldwide. Transferred to Houston in 2006, he was Marine & Offshore Technical Manager for United States and Canada activities, in charge of engineering and integrity management of floating systems. Areas of expertise include contract management, engineering and project management, conceptual development, integrity management, consultancy, design review, certification, business start-up, marketing, sales and business development. Paulo Biasotto graduated as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer (1995) and has an MBA in Engineering Economics and Industrial Administration (1999) at Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ). His professional carrier started in 1996 as a Naval Architect at Bureau Veritas Brazil.
